Effing Epic mah boi

Lols prepare for bombardment Zeurel (in the good kind of way :D).
Seeing how artists tend to prefer to get input rather than just a, "LAWLS THAT'S AWSUM" comment.

To explain:
I have been lurking around your DA page for the past week now(finally gave into your awesomeness and watched you), one of my comrades(my boyfriend, go figure) has been watching you for who-knows-how-long showed me your gallery a little while back. I just created this newgrounds account, probably simply for the purpose to write reviews. I'm an artist/comic maker, not an animator(not yet at least >_>).

Your animation skills are quite excellent to say the very least. You do great with shadows to show the depth, your color selection(for characters and backgrounds), and overall choice of shapes for the characters. The movement is very smooth, not jerky or bothersome to the eye. I LOVE your stylized look. ;3
-The backgrounds are done nicely too, I wish I could make city scenery/junkyard like ye do. I'm only good at nature. XD

The voices are pretty spiffy too. I've read down the comments quite a ways and saw others complaining for some reason... I personally think they're throwing a tantrum for no reason. You do a great job at syncing the voice to the characters lips, there isn't much to complain there.
Like your dialog too, it's usually got some humor squeezed in there(as I've seen in your past flashes). ;D

Now, moving onto the reason I almost give you a 9 instead of a 10(though no one can tell, can they?). It's just one tad thing.
Although I personally think you deliver the idea of a second persona(or third including that little spirit girl, although she doesn't appear in this animation) inside someone VERY well; it's an idea that's been done before. But I guess most any idea has been used before, depends how you use it.
What is more so bugging me is that Black Ace is this "lulz I'm evil" persona, while Spoiler is "Hai I'm teh gewd guy" sorta fellow. Black and white, evil and good. There doesn't seem to be much middle ground between them, no shades of gray(as of what I have seen, maybe I skipped over something?). I realize they are able to come to agreements, such as in the end of the flash, but yeh.
But Spoiler does have traits to his personality that are original, he's definitely NOT a carbon-copy nice guy(the kind who really has no goal for being good, or perhaps does but it's some stupid story). Some agree, some don't. That's my opinion. :3

Hmmmmm... I did read over the comic in the pre-loader, although I knew everything since(as said before) I've been browsing your DA. Off the top of my head I can't think of anything you left out to explain Spoiler's situation to a further extent..... There's probably SOMETHING you could of added to help explain to people. I dunno though. The best way for them to learn is to just go read previous stories about him, as you've clearly said.
Maybe about Nevara (although it's not your responsibility to do so since 1. you're not the host and 2. this is an AUDITION as I assume some people just don't understand)? I swear someone on the comments thought the tournament was in Nevada. O_o
But then again that could just be people who complained and didn't bother to read it. That's just sad, sad laziness. T_T
